Barcelona becomes the world showjumping capital when it hosts nine top-class competitions featuring more than 20 nations and 200 horses. Entertainment is guaranteed at the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona

For the fifth year running, the CSIO Barcelona will be hosting the world grand finale of the Nations Cup, the most important showjumping competition on the international sporting calendar and with the largest amount of prize money ever.

Over a four-day period, the Olympic showjumping circuit at the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona will be hosting nine competitions. Six individual ones, including the Copa Longines de Ciutat de Barcelona and the Copa de SM la Reina - Trofeu Segura Viudas, as well as the three rounds for the Nations Cup: a qualifying round, the Longines Challenge Cup or consolation round, and the grand finale. More than twenty countries, represented by 80 horsemen and women and 200 horses, will guarantee a top-level sporting spectacle.

The CSIO Barcelona also hosts a number of entertaining activities, such as the fun riding displays and the traditional gala dinners during the Copa Longines de la Ciutat de Barcelona on the Friday. This year you’ll also be able to enjoy the brand-new Polo Park, that offers more than 18,000 m2 dedicated to family fun. Day tickets can be purchased through Ticketea from June onwards.

The CSIO Barcelona 2017 is part of the programme of activities of the BECH (Barcelona Equestrian Challenge), an ambitious project that is an initiative of Barcelona City Council and the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona. Its main objective is to raise awareness of the world of riding and horses and to promote a love of animals and the values of sport among the public at large.
